I’m excited to share some news with you: Thanks to the generosity of incredible supporters like you, we were able to meet our matching goal of $110,000 in donations for ELCA World Hunger over the last few days.
And now, we’ve unlocked an additional matching gift! If you have not yet had a chance to make a year-end donation that will go twice as far, this is your moment.
In 2018, gifts to ELCA World Hunger reached people in more than 60 countries, including the United States. From microloans to water wells, agricultural training to advocacy, more than 500 ELCA World Hunger-supported projects are making a difference in the lives of our neighbors around the world. Together, we join God’s work in Jesus Christ’s name for the life of the world.

Today an announcement came through the office: “Thanks to a generous couple, every single ELCA Good Gift you give today will be matched, 1 for 1, until we reach $100,000.”
So, of course we took this fantastic opportunity to put together all of your donations towards buying the farm. And we did it! Plus our donation was matched, so we bought 2 farms… Way to go URLC, thank you to everyone who has donated for this amazing cause.
